Please review and agree to our terms before using our services.


1. Make us aware if your pet has medical problems, to ensure your pet's comfort. Sometimes grooming can expose preexisting conditions such as ear infections, skin abnormalities, etc. While we are not veterinarians and cannot diagnose, we may advise you seek veterinary attention.


2. Let us know of biting history, to help prevent injury. In the event, we are unable to finish due to aggression or difficult temperament, pro-rated charges may apply. We reserve the right to refuse service to any pet who presents a threat to our employees and other pets in our care. There may be additional charges ranging from $10-$20 due to the extra time and care it takes to complete dogs that present temperamental difficulties.


3. All clients are required to be using a monthly flea treatment. This protects your pet and the salon. If we find fleas, we will automatically administer a flea bath and alert you. There is an additional $15 charge for shampooing and cleaning time.


4. De-matting is painful and we discourage it. If a dog is matted, we will need to shave them. A matted coat prevents air from reaching your pet's skin, which may cause your pet to bite or scratch itself, resulting in irritated skin that does not heal properly. Shaving uncovers these conditions, as well as any other skin condition that may be present. Please note it is difficult to safely shave down a severely matted pet and irritation may occur. If your pet is severely matted there may be additional charges ranging from $10-$20 over the regular price of service, as these conditions take extra time and care.


5. All pets must be current on vaccinations prior to grooming.


6. While we do offer express services and do our best to get each client out timely, we cannot guarantee your pet's completion time. We do our best to estimate the time it will take and accommodate your schedule whenever possible, but our priority is the safety and comfort of your pet.


7. We do not offer boarding services as we simply don't have the space. Unless special circumstances have been previously arranged, most pets will need to be picked up within 20 minutes of their completed groom. A $25 per hour penalty may be assessed if pets aren't picked up promptly. This covers our time for walking and sitting with them to assure their comfort.


8. Due to the nature of our by-appointment business, we require at least 48 hours notice to cancel or re-book. In the event you do not let us know that you need to cancel or re-book, within the 48 hours requested, we will need to charge full price for the missed appointment. As a small business, we rely on of every single appointment. If you don't let us know, we do not have enough time to replace your appointment with someone else. Thank you for considering our groomer's time.


9. Our services are guaranteed for 48 hours. Services received here are non-refundable, however if you are dissatisfied with your dog's groom, we are happy to make an adjustment within two days of the original appointment. Simply call us within 48 hours of the original appointment to schedule the adjustment.


10. By leaving your pet in our care, you authorize that you understand and agree to our terms of service; you understand and agree to hold harmless Ash Way Pet Supply, it's owners and employees from and against any and all liabilities, expenses, damage and fees resulting from any service provided to your pet while in our care. You further authorize us to transport your pet to the nearest veterinarian in the event of emergency, and agree that any resulting bills will be your sole responsibility.
